The winter cycle of exhibitions includes the exhibition Paradise Lost, which presents the works of four artists – Anna Neborová, Jonáš Czesané, Jakub Janovský and Samuel Kollárik – in the part of the gallery called Rozvodna. It focuses on the contrast between the carefree world of childhood and the adult reality full of doubts.
Childhood is perceived here not only as a period of personality formation, but also as a time when the first illusions of certainty are created, which later receive significant cracks or completely fall apart. The paintings reflect both the poetics of the mundane, the everyday and the stereotype, as well as scepticism and melancholy.
